Maithili Athavale, Ph.D., Assistant General Manager (R&D) has driven the cancer biology department at Sathgen therapeutics for over 12 years, and is responsible for taking our lead drug from bench-to-bedside. Dr. Athavale brings over 21 years of experience in molecular biology, drug development, and medicinal chemistry from big pharma.

Dr. Athavale obtained her Ph.D. in Applied Biology from National Institute for Research in Reproductive Health (NIRRH) & her Masters from Mithibai College(Mumbai University).
