Rakhee Bajaj, Ph.D., Strategy and Business Development Manager joined us in 2022 with her expertise in the field of cancer drug discovery to help us bridge the gap between technology development and commercialization. With over 10 years of experience in the field of cancer, Dr. Bajaj has multiple seminal publications that have helped identify novel targets for lung cancer.

This work has also earned her several prestigious awards including being entitled the Cancer Prevention and Research Institute of Texas (CPRIT) scholar. Dr. Bajaj works as an alliance manager with consultants, pharmaceutical companies, and investors to help commercialize Sathgen’s assets.

Dr. Bajaj obtained a master’s in human genetics from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, followed by a doctorate in cancer biology from the University of Texas at MD Anderson Cancer Center.
