Sandip Gavade, PhD, Manager (R&D) has been working with Sathgen Therapeutics since 2017 leading projects involved with designing novel anti-cancer molecules, selecting synthetic routes for NCEs, and leading the chemistry team for scale up of anti-cancer compounds and synthesis of novel molecules. With over 15 published papers in international peer–reviewed journals, 6 international patents, and over 20 years of experience in synthetic and medicinal chemistry, Dr. Gavade brings expertise in drug synthesis from his time in companies like Piramal HealthCare, Takeda, and Aarti Industries Ltd.

Dr. Gavade received his PhD in Organic chemistry from the Aurangabad University followed by his Postdoctoral Research training from Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay.
