Sangeeta Srivastava, Ph.D., Executive Director has been instrumental in guiding the vision and strategy for both Sathgen Therapeutics and Godavari Biorefineries Ltd. Over the 28 years at Godavari Biorefineries Ltd, Dr. Srivastava has helped establish the R&D department that has given rise to Sathgen Therapeutics. She holds 19 Indian patents on her name, including those that have been filed in various foreign jurisdictions. She is the member of National Chemical Industry Committee of FICCI, member of the “Task Force for the Alternative Chemicals” of ASSOCHAM, and editorial board member of Industrial Biotechnology Journal.

Dr. Srivastava holds a master’s in sciences (Organic Chemistry) from Sagar University, India, a master’s in philosophy (Organic Chemistry) from Jabalpur University, India and a doctorate in Chemistry from Mumbai University, India.
She has a keen interest in the academics where Dr. Srivastava is part of various academic councils, is actively involved in research, and is regularly involved with educational institutes for the evaluation of research projects.
